Strut Studio

Terms of Service

Policy version July 24, 2026 ยท Age-assurance wording clarified August 21, 2026

These terms outline the core rules for using Strut Studio. The app may show more detailed deal-specific, safety, payment, and content terms when you create an account, join the Circle, post, accept a Studio Deal, connect Stripe, or use marketplace tools.

Eligibility and Accounts

Strut Studio is available only to adults age 18 or older who can enter into the marketplace, profile, payment, and content obligations they accept. Users must provide accurate account, profile, contact, Circle review, business, payment, tax, and verification information.

To apply this rule, Strut Studio may use Apple's Declared Age Range, self-attestation, or another approved eligibility check. These are coarse eligibility signals, not proof of legal identity. The Privacy Policy explains what Apple shares, what Strut Studio stores, and how Circle birthdate and #strutapproved presence-photo data are handled; the photo supports manual Circle review and is not age evidence. Strut Studio may restrict an account that does not meet the age requirement, cannot complete a required check, or provides unreliable age information.

Platform Rules

Users may not harass, threaten, discriminate, stalk, coerce, impersonate others, pressure people to move payment off-platform, post misleading deals, upload infringing content, or create unsafe production environments. Strut Studio may restrict, remove, suspend, or report accounts and content when needed for safety, fraud prevention, moderation, payment disputes, or legal compliance.

Beta Program Policy and Changing Features

Strut Studio beta software is still under active development and may contain bugs. Features may change, move, or be removed; posts, interactions, drafts, settings, or other data may be delayed, reset, disappear, or be lost; and performance, availability, uploads, playback, and synchronization may vary. Strut Studio works to protect and preserve user data, but beta access is provided for testing and feedback without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Keep independent copies of important original media and business records, and report unexpected behavior through Support.

Studio Deals

Studio Deals should clearly state parties, deliverables, timing, location, usage rights, payment, cancellation terms, and the review process. Once accepted, the accepted deal is the official agreement. Material changes to pay, dates, deliverables, usage rights, location, or other important terms must be approved by both sides in the app before becoming official.

Payments

Strut Studio may use Stripe or another payment processor to collect payment, hold funds for Studio Deals, and release payout after approval, automatic release, or dispute resolution. If you use a Stripe-powered payment, payout, or onboarding feature, the Stripe terms presented for that feature and your role may apply. Merchant or connected-account terms do not automatically apply to every Strut Studio user. See Stripe Legal. Tips do not change deliverables, usage rights, cancellation terms, or dispute rights unless both sides separately agree in writing.

Firebase and Service Providers

Firebase and Google Cloud provide authentication, hosting, database, storage, and backend infrastructure to Strut Studio. The Firebase Terms of Service link is provided for reference; using Strut Studio does not by itself make every user a Firebase customer.

Sponsored Work and Disclosures

Creators, brands, agencies, and collaborators are responsible for making truthful claims and any legally required disclosures for paid work, gifted products, affiliate links, free services, travel, or any other material connection. Strut Studio can help organize the deal, but users remain responsible for following advertising, endorsement, labor, tax, union, location, permit, and industry rules that apply to their work.

Content and Usage Rights

Users keep ownership of the original content they upload, subject to the rights they grant in accepted Studio Deals and the limited license Strut Studio needs to host, display, format, moderate, and distribute content inside the app. Brands receive only the usage rights clearly included in the accepted Studio Deal.

Human-Led Creativity Policy

Strut Studio exists to showcase real creators and real collaboration. AI may be used as a creative tool, but it cannot replace the creator. Users may not present AI-generated people as real models or creators; create fully AI-generated portfolios or identities; post AI-generated spam or high-volume synthetic content; or publish content created primarily by AI without meaningful human creative direction. AI may assist with editing, design, writing, music, planning, or production only when a human remains the primary creative author and truthfully represents the work.

AI Tools

Optional AI-assisted tools may help draft Studio Deal language or organize ideas, but their output must be reviewed by the users before relying on it. AI output is not legal, tax, financial, safety, or production advice and does not replace the official accepted deal.

Private Messages and Report-Only Moderation

Direct messages are not end-to-end encrypted. They are protected in transit and at rest by the service infrastructure used to operate Strut Studio. Administrators do not have a routine inbox for browsing private DMs. When a conversation participant reports a message, authorized safety reviewers receive a case-scoped copy of that message, available attached media and its reply preview, plus the reporter's note. Other messages in the conversation are not included in the ordinary report flow.

Limited access may also occur when required for a valid legal request, a security incident, fraud or payment-dispute review, or support requested by a participant. Case-scoped report evidence is scheduled for removal or de-identification 180 days after a report is resolved or closed, unless a valid legal, security, fraud, payment, or safety need requires the case to remain open longer.

Reports, Disputes, and Enforcement

Strut Studio may review user-submitted reports, case-scoped evidence, deal records, payment activity, verification submissions, and public content when reasonably necessary for support, safety, fraud prevention, moderation, legal compliance, or dispute resolution. Moderator access to report queues and report targets is role-restricted and audited.

Contact

For account, safety, payment, or legal questions, open Support Inbox in Strut Studio Settings and send a private support request. Replies remain available in that support thread. General questions may also be sent by email.

What to Include

Safety and Abuse

Use in-app reporting for content, profiles, messages, Studio Deals, or comments when possible. Reports route to the admin moderation tools and include the content context needed to review the issue.
